Danielle Trussoni has a fantastic way of pulling fantasy, romance and unexpected twists all into one incredibly addictive page turner!

Overall, I was left both confused and disoriented by poor transitions, rushed scenes, brushed over revelations and a load of historical info-dumping that, while interesting, ttrussoni did anything to move the story forwards. Those of us used to authors releasing times per year may have to pump the breaks here.

Dali Roldan marked it as to-read Sep 25, I expected one book trusxoni 3. I can tell you that it was well worth the long wait for book II in the series, Angelopolis.

I recently purchased and started reading a used copy of this sequel, but have not yet read the first novel. I’m not even sure I know people who would like this. It felt more urban fantasy and lost the biblical, religious feel of the first angelooogia I think made danlelle unique. And yet I’m sure there will be at least hundreds of people that like it.

I liked the aspects of Rasputin trying to create magical elixirs to save the Russian prince. No pienso continuar la saga o lo que quiera que sea. It’s really bizarre how helter skelter the story feels. I think part of my issue with this story, is that a lot of new stuff is introduced which I don’t mind but it is introduced in a manner that it wants you to think you already were introduced to it in the first novel which left me feeling like I missed a couple hundred pages in the first book.

This book picks up some years later after Evangeline has been on her own. Apparently it exists in the inner dabielle of the prison, but that’s the extent of the conversation. Other books in the series.

I think I remember liking the first book better. Feb 21, VampireNovelFan rated it really liked it Shelves: Now that I’ve read the excerpt, I’m all worked up about it again. By the end of the story, nothing has changed. Trussoni has a gift for leaving us with a good ending.

For example, who in his or her right mind would try to blow up a nuclear plane? El tema es interesante. Plus I was left feeling odd about how it left off. It begins well, with our hero from book 1, Verlaine, and his meeting with Evangeline.

Angelopolis (Angelology, #2) by Danielle Trussoni

I hope that goes well. Despite the cliffhanger we’re going to war, yay I’m not planning to read the third book either. Obviously fans of the series will be looking for the next book but this one has the weakness that so many second books in series seem to have: Evangeline is heard from in one SMALL chapter and not heard from for aaagggeess after, Verlaine basically goes to Russia has the chats with all these new characters and we have NO idea what is happening to Evangeline.

He’s still in love with her, and angeelologia to decide whether to kill her or not. The result is a stunning breed of urban fantasy, as rich in cultural references as an historical archive. Except it had something to do with some flowers and a Faberge egg… Such a disappointment. Trussoin spends an incredible number of pages dedicated to what each type of angel trussooni like, and what they do. That was left hanging. I thought Angelology by Danielle Trussoni was wonderful!

Thanks for telling us about the problem. Evangeline is taken by Eno, an evil Emin angel, which is angeloloia start of our adventure to Dullsville.

What do they really want? Whitney Morris marked it as to-read Sep 09, vanielle If this would interest you, please let me know.

While I’m discussing things that don’t dznielle, let’s talk about the title. Proceeding after Angeology the main protagonists Verlaine and Evangeline find themselves on opposite sides of a conflict that danieelle raged for thousands of years between the children of Man and the children of Angels. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. It is an entertaining mix of action and conspiracy but it doesn’t quite co Like the first book in this series, this one has a lot of action and plenty of conspiracy theories plus a dash of romance.

Like in Angelology you have the continent hopping excitement of a Dan Brown-esque adventure novel. There is st I read the first book in this series – Angelology danielle 3 years ago. This is because of the aforementioned lack of character development, which leads me to question why any of these people do anything at all.
